Tishk International University (TIU) installed the most advanced technology called Interactive Digital Board (IDB) in September 2021 and provided training sessions for all TIU staff on the new tool. The IDB is an innovative and interactive board for teaching and learning. 180 Academic staff from 23 departments participated in the training course, which was delivered over six days (19th of September 2021, to 26th of September 2021), each day for 6 hours. The course aimed to train academic staff on how to use the interactive digital board in classes and explain all the system’s features to help them use it during class. The trainer of this course was Mr. Mohammad Shahin, a Regional Information Display Engineer and Expert of Smartboard and Technology in Education from Jordan. The Computer Engineering Department, IT Service Unit and Quality Assurance Unit supervised this training course.
