On October 22, 2024, Dr Sameerah T. Saeed, from the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Directorate at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, KRG, delivered a comprehensive presentation on Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings to Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) at Tishk International University.
The presentation included details about the ranking methodology, the 17 UN SDGs, the data required for the THE Impact Rankings 2025, forms of evidence, ranking scores, eligibility, and metrics and indicators per SDG.
Mr Karwan Sherwani, Vice-Dean of FASE, and Faculty Council members engaged in the discussion and identified the areas in which the Faculty can contribute to and those which are likely challenging. Based on the types of data requirements, scope and mission of FASE, and available resources, the Faculty Council will prepare an action plan to adhere to the 17 UN SDGs.
